What is Pick & Pack?

Pick and Pack is the term used to describe when Amazon retrieves (picks) SKUs (units), packs, and ships your orders. Think of it as a service charge for all the internal magic needed to ensure the lightning-fast delivery speeds Amazon is renowned for.

How are Pick & Pack Fees Calculated

Amazon uses a number of metrics to determine Pick & Pack fees. These include inventory category and referral fee percentages which are applied on a per-unit basis. In 2023 alone, there have been more than seven major changes to Pick & Pack fees affecting hundreds of thousands of units across different categories.

Using Getida to audit Pick & Pack fees is a no-brainer and low-cost solution for all Getida customers. As with all Getida services, unless we find and successfully recover money from claims related to Pick & Pack, you pay nothing.

How does Pick & Pack work in the Getida dashboard?

Getida Pick and Pack Dimensions claim feature calculates the fulfillment fee based on shipping product dimensions and the weight sellers input into our dashboard. This fee is then compared to the Amazon fulfillment fee. If there is a discrepancy, you can file a reimbursement claim to get a refund for the difference.

Getida Pick and Pack Pricing claim feature compare the Amazon fulfillment fee estimate when an order is placed and the actual fulfillment fee Amazon charges when the order is completed. If there is a discrepancy between the two amounts, Getida enables sellers to file a reimbursement claim.
